John Kabus comes to Kansas Insurance with twenty-five years of experience in local government and the agriculture industry. John has served as the Shawnee County Noxious Weed Director in Topeka, KS.
He has been a strong advocate for noxious weed awareness and eradication and has a life-long personal and professional involvement in the conservation of agriculture and the agriculture industry. John brings his passionate commitment to helping landowners and the community to Kansas Insurance, Inc.
Prior to his appointment at Shawnee County, John was the Agricultural Science Instructor and FFA Advisor at Seaman High School in Topeka. He volunteers as a community 4-H leader for the crop judging teams in Shawnee, Jefferson & Jackson counties. John has farming interests and resides in rural Shawnee County with his wife Kaye and three children.
